Working with peat, wool, people and possibility.

Artist Pip Woolf has a novel approach to the problem of upland erosion in the mountains, to use a locally abundant, ecologically sound, biodegradable substance................sheep's wool. Working with over 500 volunteers, Pip has laid five, 300 metre long, lines of felted wool across a peat scar on Pen Trumau. This walk, which involves one steep climb, will see the results of the work begun in 2010.
