The classic ridge walk from Storey Arms to Talybont on Usk taking in Pen y Fan, Cribyn, Fan y Big and Carn Pica. This is followed by a long descent to Aber village and a return to Talybont along part of the Brinore Tram Road. Ascent 3100ft.

From the Mountain Centre we cross the Glyn Tarell valley before ascending Pen Milan to the Tommy Jones obelisk, then across Blaen Taf Fawr to Storey Arms, down the Drovers' Road and across the valley again to Craig Cerrig Gleisiad and Fan Frynych, before returning to the Centre for a cuppa. Ascent 3000ft.

The launch of the latest of the Bwlch walks series
Leave Bwlch to walk down and cross the river Usk at Llangynidr then join the canal for a section of flat walking before ascending up, up and up Tor y Foel. Descend towards the Talybont reservoir to pick up the Usk Valley Walk around the north side of Tor y Foel and back to the canal, before the steep ascent back up to Bwlch. The finishing touch:- bangers and mash and a warming cup of tea/coffee with the compliments of the New Inn! Ascent 2500ft.

Meet at Llanthony Priory for a minibus up the Nant Bwch Valley. Walk down the valley, past a house restored by artist Reg Gammon and to see the views painted by David Jones, stopping at the Monastery at Capel y Ffin (Eric Gill) and the Baptist Chapel (Eric Ravilious). The walk will then follow the valley down past the Vision farmhouse to Llanthony Priory where JMW Turner and others painted.
