A circular high level walk around the Dyffryn Crawnon Valley climbing up Beacons Way and heading south along Brinore Tram Road before returning across open moor land via Carn Caws back to the village. Explore the industrial heritage on the Llangattock hillside
From CRiC, cross the river bridge to Llangattock and then to the lime kilns by the canal. From there up the steep incline used by trams bringing the limestone down to the quarries, easily visible from Crickhowell. Walk along old tram roads and through the quarries to a very modern installation - a gas pumping station! Then descending to the canal and returning to Crickhowell. Ascent 1300 ft.
