 VERY STRENUOUS.

The Black Mountains "Haute Route Challenge" is a 2 day event covering 36 miles across the whole of the Black  Mountains. You will be expected to be fit enough and properly equipped for two long days out in the mountains.

The Black Mountains Run is a fell run over 24 miles of mountains and valleys. For this you need the correct trainers and light rucksack and gear. If you have not participated in a fell run before do not attempt this event!


 
Only book one walk at a time, then add to cart and return to shopping.

Meeting Point: CRiC for transport to start
Times: 7.30am to 6pm (Saturday) and 7.30am to 5pm (Sunday)
Distance: 36 miles (2 days)

A two-day challenge. Transport from CRiC to Sugar Loaf Car Park. The route is - Sugar Loaf, Crug Mawr, Bal Mawr, Black Hill, Hay Bluff to Gospel Pass. Transport back to CRiC for Saturday evening. (You will need to arrange your own accommodation.) Bring head torches in case you are delayed!

Transport from CRiC to Gospel Pass. Then the walk continues to Grwyne Fawr Dam, Pen Trumau, Pen Allt Mawr, Crug Hywyl and back to CRiC.

A cross country fell run for a change!

Join the RAF Instructors for a real challenge - a run around the Black Mountains. Ensure that you are equipped for fell running - trainers not boots and a light pack - and that you are fit enough to complete the course. The route takes in Hay Bluff, Twmpa, Waun Fach, Pen y Gadair Fawr and Bal Bach and involves 4400ft of ascent.
