Booking on line is the quickest and easiest way to secure your places on the walks or events of your choice. By booking on line and paying by PayPal you will get nearly instant confirmation that your places are booked. You may book by post, telephone or in person at CRiC (see the bottom of this page), but note that these methods involve some delay and could result in you losing your places if demand is high.

Paypal is a totally secure independent service for accepting payments. You card information is held by PayPal and neither Crickhowell Walking Festival nor the Crickhowell Resource and Information Centre or any third party can see your details.

How to Book

Step 1. Register yourself plus walkers in your party.

Go to My Account and first fill in your details as Booker. You will then need to add your name as a Walker and the names of any other Walkers in your party (not required if you are booking for Events only).

You will be asked to provide a telephone number In Case of Emergency (ICE). This number should be one the emergency services could use, for instance, if you are injured on one of the walks and need help getting home. It will not be disclosed to anyone, except in the event of emergency.

Step 2. Book Walks.

From the Home Page click on the Walks link and select the day or grade of the walks(s) that you wish to book.

By each walk there should be a box with your name and those of any additional walkers you have registered. If no names appear then go to My Account and select Walkers and then AddWalkers. Do not forget to add yourself as a walker!

In the box by the walk you wish to book check the names of each walker you wish to book on that walk then click the Add to Cart button beside the walk you wish to book.

Only book one walk at a time - you will be taken to your cart each time you book a walk so that you can check the details you have entered are correct.

Step 3. Book Events.

The process is the same as for walks, but you do not have to enter the names of people each time as you do for walks. Just select the number of tickets you require.

Most events do not require a ticket, your email is proof of purchase.

Step 4. Proceed to Checkout

From Your Cart click on Checkout and follow the process.

If you are paying by PayPal select that option and you will be taken to the Paypal website where you will make your payment. You will receive an email from CWF when you make your booking and another to confirm your booking when the payment is cleared.

If you are paying by cheque, select that option and complete checkout. When you receive the email with your booking, post a copy plus your cheque to CRiC. Cheques should be made out to CRiC with CWF 2012 on the back. When your cheque is received you will get the confirmation email provided that there are still places available.

If you have booked for walks and most events your email is proof of payment. Ticketed events - Twmpath, Big Band and St David's Day Concert only - will be sent by post.

Bookings will also be accepted by the following methods, but note that priority will be given to website bookings.

• Post - use the Booking Form, payment by cheque only.

• Telephone - payment by credit card only.
